This is a vintage hand held US Navy BU. or Ord A.A. Range Indicator. It is WWII era and made by The A. C. Gilbert Company. 1944.
Measures 9.5" long. The metal indicators move the center lines closer and further apart as they should. There is a little noise when doing so. It indicates the tool should be held 24" from your eye when using.
Condition is good with some normal signs of use.
