This is an antique late 1880s set of 4 etchings in a portfolio by H R Blaney. They are titled Etchings of Bar Harbor. These are not bound. The covers and pages are all loose.
The etchings, including the border, measure approximately 8" x 10". Each has then been glued to a larger stiffer paper back measuring 13" x 11". There are four different pieces of artwork in this set: Along Shore, The Indian Camp, Hull's Cove, and Bar Island.
The first page indicates these etchings on copper were made from sketches done at Bar Harbor on August 1, 1887. Each etching is signed by the artist H. R. Blaney in the lower right on both the etching itself and the border. They are also all dated '87 and labeled as to location. Each etching has a separate page telling a little about each location.
Condition: Cover and pages have edge discoloration. The etching papers themselves have wrinkling and some mostly top edge discoloration probably from the glue.
