These are a pair of vintage 1920s WWI era leather military spats or gaiters for men. They measure 12.5" tall with an adjustable calf strap. They were made for and marked on the inside JC Penney.
The bottom metal latch has two adjustments for the ankle area and the upper buckle is adjustable for the calf area. They are marked a 15 with possibly 1/2 after it.
Condition: They show wear to both the inside and outside, scratches and the band around the inner top of one has come apart in one section. Please see all photos.
