A vintage apple shaped tip tray Pippins 5 Cent Cigar advertising made by H. Traiser & Co. - Boston. It is metal and measures 5" x 5 3/8". The top reads Excel & Outsell All Others. Pippin apples are one of the oldest US apple varieties.
The tray has some missing paint as well as other marks that didn't come off with only light rubbing. The left top gray corner is bent slightly downward.
