This is a lot of 4 antique children's books from the 1890s. All have had years of loving use. I will list each book below along with condition information.
Merry Times - Pleasant Pages for Every One - Boston. DeWolfe, Fiske & Co. publishers: Condition: No copyright date, but there are names and dates on two blank front pages with the earliest being 1893. Both color and black/white illustrations included. Pages separating from spine. Cover wear and soiling. Some pages have minor soiling and discoloration at edges.
Blossoms (Plucked From The Treasures of Story and Song)- W.B. Conkey Co. London New York Chicago publishers, copyright 1894. Lots of black/white and green toned illustrations. Condition: Obvious cover edge wear/tears. Writing inside cover. Pages tight in binding but cover is tearing. Yellowing and light soiling of pages.
Jack And The Bean Stalk - M.A. Donohue & Co. Publishers - No copyright but given to same girl who owned the above two books per writing on cover page. Lots of black/white illustrations. Condition: Writing as mentioned. Obvious cover edge wear. Back cover separating from pages. Pages tight in binding. Some discoloration of pages and minor soiling.
Mother Goose Rhyme Book - W.B. Conkey Co. No copyright but owned by same girl. Writing on blank front page is dated 1906. Rhymes with black and white illustrations. Condition: All small photos on inside front and back cover have been colored as shown in the photos. Back page is torn. Binding is slightly loose with back cover loose as shown. Pages nice with some edge discoloration .
