Vintage Monkey On A Picnic Toy, 1950s Battery Operated by Cragston in Box | Works!
This is a nice vintage, working battery operated Monkey On A Picnic animated toy by Cragston. From the 1950s and comes with the original box.
His stomach swells up as he simulates drinking and eating a banana. Measures about 9.75" tall. On/Off switch in back metal base. Takes two D size batteries (not included) and battery compartment is clean.
Aside from some soiling on his face, the monkey is in nice shape. Please see all the photos. The sixth one was taken with him in action to show how he tilts back and stomach swells up. Box lid/cover/top is split along front top edge, right edge and going down about 2.0" at right edge and along bottom right edge. Bottom of box is fine.
