Vintage 1960s Lacquerware Red Oval Tray Centerpiece | Ocean Waves | Gift From Yokosuka Mayor 1963

Sorry, this item has sold.

This long oval lacquerware tray measures 21.5" long by 8" wide in the center. It features an ocean wave design in the center. On the back is a large piece of tape stating that this was given to a G. Hodge by the Mayor of Yokosuka Japan in 1963.

The tray is a rusty red color with recessed waves and honeycomb pattern in a gray/black. Please see all the photos as this tray has some various finish blemishes, chips and a deeper scratch on the bottom.

Still displays nicely on a table as you can see.
