Vintage ANRI Wood Men Corkscrew Bottle Opener, German Music Box Suitcase, Musical Bar Ware, 1940s Drinking Men Traveler
This is a vintage German wooden carving of two men with a suitcase. It is not marked, but could very well be ANRI. Their heads are a corkscrew and bottle opener. They are possibly supposed to be a butler and a traveler. The suitcase is a music box also and still works. The song indicated on the bottom in German is Oh Du Lieber Augustin.
The set measures 6.5" x 4" x 7" tall. The suitcase has a lot of wear and may have been repaired with the nails you see in the photo, I'm really not sure. Otherwise the piece is in nice shape for its age, with the corkscrew and opener showing some discoloration of the metal.
