A vintage 1958 Federal Indian Law book by the United States Department of The Interior, Office of The Solicitor. Fred Seaton - Secretary, Elmer Bennett - Solicitor. From the Preface, this book is a revision and updated through 1956 of the Handbook of Federal Indian Law, first printed in 1940.
Condition is fairly good. The hardcover has some spine wear and the spine has splitting inside the front and back covers. A photo of the front inside cover is shown. Pages appear to be clean, but the edges have evidence of moisture exposure. There is writing on the inside front cover as shown, as well as in the upper right corner of the facing page.
