This is the Fall 1970 issue of Whole Earth Catalog designed by Stewart Brand. Second Printing January 1971 of 50,000. According to the inside cover, this catalog function is to list items that are: Useful Tools, Relevant to Independent Education, High Quality or Low Cost, and Easily Available by Mail. The catalog is 143 pages and measures 10.75" x 14.5" tall. See photos for a few sample pages.
Condition is good for age. There is a tear on the front cover, corner and edge wear, as well as page edge discoloration. There are no ads, and it states they are part of Portola Institute.
