This is a 1930s woodblock print of Jackson Square in the French Quarter, New Orleans. It is signed in the bottom left with initials C.M. On the right side of the street is the Cabildo. Penciled in on the bottom is Jackson Square on the left and New Orleans on the right. Looks to be hand colored or painted.
The print itself measures 5 7/8" x 6 1/2". Folded as shown it measures 7 7/8" x 9 7/8". It unfolds to a blank inside and blank back. There is a water stain on the lower right corner, and edges have minor wear, pin hole at the top, and a tear that is on the back cover edge only. There is pencil writing on the back as shown, including a date of Feb 19, but unfortunately no year was recorded.
