This is a Tickle Me Elmo X-Treme 10th Anniversary version. The toy is still factory sealed in the box. It was made by Fisher Price in 2006. The original came out in 1996. The box is in really nice shape. When the flap is opened it still talks and giggles, but not every single time. I would think the original batteries could just be a little weak after this many years.
Would make a great gift!
