A vintage Sam F. Chang Ukulele. I'm not positive of age on this uke, but I would guess about 1940s or '50s by the decal on back of head (see image 4). It measures a bit over 20.75" from bottom to top of head. and about 6.375" across at its widest and about 2.5" at its deepest.
The instrument does show wear from years of use, if you look at 3rd picture,3rd image, I think you can see wear marks from fingers in the fret board all up and down it. There are some light scratches and scuffs here & there, and if you look close you can see small impressed marks, little lines and impressions here & there on the body etc.
The bridge piece is NOT ATTACHED, it needs to be glued back down, but I didn't want to do it wrong so I'm leaving it up to you. The bridge is here and in good condition, see 5th picture, 1st image.
It appears to me that the tuning pegs have been replaced at some point, they are plastic and have Philips screws in them, see 4th picture.
Overall it looks to be sound and complete (except no strings). I see no cracks. Very pretty & rich colors.
