Toucan Bird Vintage Brutalist Sculpture, Mid Century Toucan Metal Art Sculpture
This is a great vintage toucan bird brutalist sculpture. He is mounted on a metal perch on a wooden Witco style block. It measures about 3.5" tall to the top of his beak from the top of the block, and about 4.5" from tail to tip of beak. From the bottom of the block to top of beak is about 5.25" and block is about 3.0" x 3.5" x 1.75", ( see 3rd picture for size compared to a CD).
There is some surface rust / wear to the brass on top of his head and tail, but I THINK it was made this way (see 4th picture), that is part of its look. Otherwise it is great condition.
I do not find any signature.
