This is an antique pig figure made of heavy pottery and glazed in what I believe is a majolica finish. There are 4 soft plastic bubbles on bottom on each foot that someone added to prevent scratching, I'm sure they can be removed. Also, I'm not sure about his eyes, I don't know if they are original to him or not, they seem to be made of a either glass or an acrylic of some sort. At the front of his two front feet and kind of on the bottom of his back left one, there are chips that have been colored in with a dark pen or something (see last picture).
There is a firing hole on the bottom of his belly.
He measures about 5.5' long and about 2.75" tall. He is signed on the bottom as shown in picture #4. "1942 (something) France XI"
