Vintage Whiting & Davis Mesh Purse, Art Deco Vintage Mesh Bag Handbag with Watercolor Mountain Trees Abstract Scene
A unique vintage 1920s Whiting & Davis fine mesh purse with an interesting kind of abstract design of mountains or something, maybe a side view of a woman's face? I'm not sure. It measures about 6" x 5.75" when laying flat at its longest and widest points and about 4.875" across the gold colored bracket/opening.
The bracket is embossed with a floral design. The bottom right & left corners are just a tiny bit gathered or kinked, but I believe that's in the making and not a defect. See last picture for how it is attached at the hinges, I believe that this is how it was made also but just wanted to show you. Overall excellent condition, inside and out.
