WW2 Vintage Aviators MK-4 Anti-Exposure Suit, 1940s World War 2 Pilots Suit Insulation Liner
A WWII, world war 2 era Aviators Anti Exposure Suit. Tag reads (see last picture) "INSULATION LINER/(MIK-4, Anti-Exposure Suit)/Aviators Clothing Co.,Inc./Size 40L/U.S. Property".
The suit measures about 5 ft. long from the shoulder to the bottom cuff that goes around ankles and 18" at shoulders and armpits. The zipper on right side has come loose from the lining. It's not torn up, the stitching has just come out in about a 15" area, could be easily sewn back in.
It has moth holes in the stretchy cloth areas at the neck/collar, the pits, cuffs etc.(see last picture for example) There is some staining above the left front pocket, maybe a name badge was there or something and there is a name written on back (see 3rd picture) .
This suit is NOT in perfect shape,so expect to find other wear and tear here & there.. but is intact and appears to be complete to me.
