Native American Artifact Stone Spear Head Point 5.75 Inches, Authenticated 1941

$425.00

This is an antique Native American pointed stone spear head.

It measures 5.75" long and 2 1/8" wide at the widest point.

In 1941 the owner sent this specimen, along with several others to the University of Washington, Washington State Museum in Seattle to get information on their authentication. This piece was labeled #5 and written on the stone as shown.

It is noted to resemble page 157, figure 222 in the document by Gerald Fowke "Stone Art" from the 13h Annual Report, Bureau of American Ethnology. I've included a picture of the letterhead with date, as well as the line of information given for this particular artifact.

Please see all photos, and my other listings at this time for more pieces from this collection.
