St. Louis Silver Co 16" Tall Tankard Stein Hidden Secret Wine Cooler Silverplate

A very rare antique St. Louis Silver Co. large 16" tall stein or tankard that is actually a secret hidden wine cooler. Comes with a round plate that it sits on. The bottom unscrews as shown and a bottle of wine placed inside it. Marked on the inside of the lid as shown with the company name plus Quadruple, pat. pending and the number 100.
Measures 16" tall with a 5.25" diameter base of the tankard. The plate is 7 5/8" diameter and has a Salosico Ware sticker on the bottom.
Condition: Shows some age, discoloration of the silverplate, it appears someone has put a white polish on the silver metal at one time. The top of the lid has a couple obvious dents. There are also small dings on the bottom edge.
