Enamel Brass Ashtray, Mid Century, Removable Horse Snuffer, Turquoise Blue

A unique vintage enamel and brass metal ashtray from the mid century. The horse is removable and I believe must be designed as a snuffer for your cigarette. There is enamel underneath the horse's resting place as shown.
Measures 5" x 3.75". The horse by itself is 1.75" tall. The enamel is a pretty turquoise blue color.
Condition: Good with a few minor scratches to the gold toned edge, a couple tiny places of missing enamel and color variation to the horse. Please see all the photos.
