This listing is for two different vintage autographed items by Dr. Max Euwe, a former World Chess Champion among other titles.
The first is the cover only from the Chess Review magazine from July 1947. Dr. Euwe signed it at the top and the previous owner typed that it was autographed on July 20th, 1980 at Paul Masson winery, now known as The Mountain Winery. The are some small tears, discoloration and other signs of age and use.
The second item is an approximately 7" X 10.75" undated photo of Max Euwe giving a speech. This one was also autographed by him years later on the same July 20th, 1980 date and location. Photo has a curve in it and corner bends as well as staining on the back.
Dr. Euwe died in 1981 at the age of 80.
