Signed J Edgar Hoover Letter 1940 FBI Letterhead Stationery to Yakima WA Police

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a letter dated December 27, 1940 on FBI stationery and signed by J. Edgar Hoover the Director for the purpose of thanking Floyd Luce, Captain of Detectives in Yakima WA at the time for sending a crate of apples. The letter comes in its original blank envelope. Washington State was known back then for its apples.

I have a lot of various FBI National Police Academy items, some with Hoover's signature, including the diploma given to this Mr. Floyd Luce on another listing in my shop.
