1940 FBI National Police Academy Graduation Diploma, Program, Banquet, Invitation, J Edgar Hoover Signatures

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a vintage lot of items, all but one from 1940, including two invitations, a place card, banquet program, graduation program and diploma for the FBI National Police Academy. Three are signed by J. Edgar Hoover. Floyd E. Luce from Yakima, WA was a member of this class and to whom the diploma was given. There is also a letter from FBI letterhead, dated 5 years later in 1945, signed by J. Edgar Hoover expressing his sorrow that Floyd Luce is leaving the law enforcement profession.

This mentioned letter, the diploma and the top of the banquet program all three have Hoover's signature.

A small American flag is also included with this lot as it was found with it.

Please see all photos. I have one other letter in another listing with Hoover's signature on it.
