Seattle Slew Secretariat Race Horses, 1973 Newsweek Magazine, Bumper Sticker, Triple Crown
A vintage lot of 2 famous Triple Crown winning racing horses items. Included are:
June 11, 1973 Newsweek Magazine with Secretariat on the cover. The 5 page article inside was written as the horse had already won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness that year and was to run the Belmont that weekend to hopefully win the Triple Crown, which he of course did. The magazine has light normal signs of use and age.
The second item is a large Seattle Slew bumper sticker. This horse won the Triple Crown in 1977. The sticker measures 14.5" x 3.75". It has soiling, bends and three small edge tears.
