Rare Know Your Merchant Fleet Original 1944 Poster WWII Maritime 19" x 26.5" Elmo White Marine Military US Government Ships for Victory

This is what I believe to be an original Know Your Merchant Fleet United States Maritime Commission poster by Elmo White. It has been backed with cardboard and shrink wrapped. The bottom fine print reads "Printed by Public Relations Division, United States Maritime Commission" and in the lower right corner "US Government Printing Office 1944 with a number following. The Ships for Victory emblem is in the lower left corner.

The reason I believe it to be an original period poster and not a recent reproduction is that there are fold lines that would indicate it could be folded down to a 6.5" x 9.5" size possibly for mailing.

Condition: Fold lines as mentioned. Also some dots of discoloration on the top and bottom right side of the border.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping quoted is with the cardboard backing as shown, which makes the package oversize and expensive. If you would like, after purchase, I can remove the poster from the backing and wrap, fold it as it was originally and ship it well protected from bends in a box, which would greatly reduce shipping cost.
