This listing is for 5 history books of World War II. The first is a 4 volume set titled Veterans of Foreign Wars Edition of Pictorial History of the Second World War. A photographic record of all theaters of action chronologically arranged.
Volume 1 - Copyright 1944 - Published by WM. H. Wise and Co. 1948 New York. Years 1 and 2 in stories and pictures.
Volume 2 - Copyright 1944 - Published especially for and sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States 1948 - Years 3 and 4 in stories and pictures. Has name and address of a previous owner on title page.
Volume 3 - Copyright 1944 and 1946. Same as above except only the fifth year.
Volume 4 - Copyright 1946. Same as volume 2 with no name written on title page.
Condition is nice. Spines are faded. Pages have very minor discoloration. Volume 1 has some slight evidence of moisture.
The fifth book is titled Bombs Away! Your Air Force in Action. It is a photographic history of AAF WWII operations. Copyright 1947. Published by Wm. H. Wise & Co. 1948.
Condition: Spine is faded and torn about an inch from the top. Cover design has wear. Pages have minor discoloration.
