Vintage Bird Driftwood Sculpture, Sandpiper Folk Art, Small Vintage 1974 Mid Century Decor
Nice little folk art sculpture of what I think are sandpipers attached to a piece of driftwood, making it look like a beach scene. I'm not sure what the birds are made of, some sort of a composition type material, and then hand painted giving them the white underbelly of a sandpipers.
This piece measures about 2.25" to the top of ones head and about 6.25" x 2.25" across base. It is signed in pen on bottom "Ocean Crest / 1-74 / Williams Pearson Statleman" . The birds legs are slightly flexible, they can be posed to some degree, but wouldn't mess with them to much. Sweet little mid century sculpture.
